I had a mixed experience at Central Railway Hotel. The location is super convenient, just a hop away from Central Station and close to shops, which made exploring Sydney a breeze. However, I faced a few hiccups with the check-in process and noise from the cleaners, which were a bit annoying. Overall, it was decent but not perfect.
Rooms

The room was spacious, featuring a king bed and a single bed, but it felt a bit odd since I was alone. The building is old but charming in its own way.
Service

The staff were really helpful, especially when it came to carrying my big luggage up to the third floor. However, the reception experience could have been friendlier.

I had a decent stay at Central Railway Hotel overall, enjoying the spacious room and convenient location. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired and the noise level was quite bothersome. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made up for some of the downsides. 🌟

The staff were really nice and helpful, especially a lady named Charpel who assisted us in securing a van for our airport transfer. They were quick to respond to requests, which made my stay more pleasant.

The location was fantastic for exploring Sydney. Being close to public transport made it easy to navigate the city without needing my car, which was a big bonus. Also, I found some great local eateries nearby! 🚍

I appreciated the coffee and brekkie box provided. There were also some local cafes that seemed promising. However, dining options inside the hotel could be improved.

The hotel had some basic facilities, but the furniture felt a bit cheap and worn down. Housekeeping also missed some details and didn't always provide fresh towels when expected.

My stay at the Central Railway Hotel was a mixed bag. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Central Station and close to charming restaurants in Surrey Hills. but the room felt a bit dated and in need of some updates. The service was definitely a highlight, with friendly staff who were helpful throughout my stay.

The room was spacious but somewhat old and could use a facelift. It had the essentials I needed like a fridge, microwave, and kettle for self-catering, which was convenient. However, the bathroom was small, and the overall decor felt a bit worn.

Dining nearby was worth it, especially since there were excellent places just a short walk away. I enjoyed some delicious meals, particularly a fantastic steak salad that I couldn’t resist returning for. The prices were reasonable, too.
Facilities

The hotel had basic facilities, but it was missing some conveniences. There was no restaurant on-site, which meant planning meals in advance. Free wifi was available, but it was quite slow for anything more than casual browsing.

My stay at Central Railway Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was super convenient, just a short walk from Central Station, the lack of a lift was a hassle, especially with my bag. The room was spacious but could really use some updates, and I faced issues with slow Wi-Fi and a TV that didn’t work well. On the bright side, the staff were really nice and accommodating, but ultimately, I felt it wasn't the best value for the price I paid.
